Learning-based Control Systems, Robotics, Reinforcement Learning, Safe Autonomy
I am a graduate student in Control Systems Engineering at the University of Padua, based in Padova, Italy, focusing on Robotics and Machine Learning. During my studies and professional work, I have contributed to projects on learning-based and robust control for underactuated robots (e.g., Pendubot/Acrobot), as well as practical HVAC/IoT systems in collaboration with industry. My current interests include safety-aware, data-driven controllers and research problems at the intersection of robot learning and optimal control.
I earned my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from Sharif University of Technology, one of the leading technical universities in Iran. My studies there provided me with a solid foundation in fundamental theories, control principles, and mathematics, which continue to serve as a strong backbone for my graduate-level research and applied projects.
Previously, I worked as an R&D Specialist on data-center cooling and BMS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, MQTT), designed an IoT solution for CloudGate service, and developed an IoT-based synchronous sound distribution system later presented at a national conference. I enjoy hands-on implementation, from MATLAB/Simulink models to Python/ROS and embedded systems.
